🙏 The Third Thing I Need From You (And Why It’s Non-Negotiable)

Founder succession mission and calling to help entrepreneurs finish well
Your introduction isn’t just a favor—it’s a prayer in motion

The Moment I Knew This Was My Assignment

Five years ago, I stood at a crossroads—not just professionally, but spiritually.

I’d built two careers. I’d achieved success. But something was missing.

Then, in a quiet moment of prayer, I heard a question that changed everything: “What if your next chapter isn’t about what you do—but who you help finish well?”

That was the spark.

But the fire didn’t come until last month.

Sitting in my living room with 10 founders—each wrestling with the same question (“What does finishing well look like for me?”)—I watched as God wove our stories together.

And then it hit me: This isn’t just a calling. This is my assignment.

Not because I’m the smartest or most qualified. But because God has prepared me for this season—to help 100 entrepreneurs cross the finish line with purpose.

16 down. 84 to go.

Here’s the truth: I’m not the smartest or most qualified person for this. In fact, I’ve made most every mistake you can—and I have the scars to share.

But that’s exactly why God has prepared me for this season—to help 100 entrepreneurs cross the finish line with purpose.

But here’s the catch: To stay on track, I need to help 8 founders in 2025—starting with our January group.

But your help is critical. And it has to do with introductions.

Why Your Introductions Are Mission-Critical

I’ve shared my assignment with you. I’ve asked for your voice to shape my content and your prayers for divine impetus.

Now, I need the third thing: your introductions.

Here’s why:

1️⃣ I Can’t Reach Them Alone

  • The 84 founders I need to help? They’re not in my network—but they are in yours.

  • Example: One introduction led to a father-son duo finally having “the talk” about succession.

2️⃣ This Is Spiritual Work

  • Oswald Chambers said it best: ‘Prayer is not preparation for the greater work; prayer is the greater work.’

  • Your introduction isn’t just a favor—it’s a prayer in motion, unlocking God’s plan for 84 more founders. Every name you share is a seed planted in faith.

 3️⃣ The Clock Is Ticking

  • Every day a founder avoids succession planning is a day their legacy is at risk.

  • Stat: 70% of businesses fail to reach the second generation of leadership. Your introduction could change that.

The 3 Types of Founders Who Need You

1️⃣ The Legacy Builders

  • “I want my business to outlast me.”

  • Example: Ted’s answer? “I want the boys to be successful.” (Not his success—theirs.)

2️⃣ The Freedom Seekers

  • “I want to walk away knowing my team is thriving.”

  • Example: Charles, the 71-year-old CEO who thought his career was over—until a Breakthrough Group helped him see his next chapter.

3️⃣The Stuck

  • “I don’t know where to start.”

  • Example: The founder who told me, “No one’s ever asked me what finishing well means.”

Here’s the truth: All three groups need the same thing. A Breakthrough Group—and your introduction to get them there.

How to Make an Introduction (The Right Way)

1️⃣ Ask First

  • “I know someone who could help you finish well. Would you like an introduction?”

2️⃣ Share Their Story With Me

  • “They’re struggling with [fear/identity/legacy]. I think they’d resonate with your approach.”

3️⃣ Connect Us

  • Forward this email or email me with their name.

4️⃣ Continually Share My Content With Them

  • Forward my emails, posts, or guides with a personal note:

    • “This helped me—thought it might help you too.”

    • “Harry’s approach to [specific topic] changed how I think about [their struggle].”

P.S. Our next Breakthrough Mastermind starts January 17th. Reply “Team” to claim one of the 8 spots at the 2025 rate.

P.P.S. Remember: 16 down. 84 to go. Your introduction could be the one that unlocks the next breakthrough.
