The Business as Mission Podcast: The Story I Don’t Often Tell

It’s not often that I pull back the curtain on my personal story, but being a guest on the Business as Mission Podcast with Mike Baer created a unique opportunity to do just that.
You know me as someone who tells other people’s stories of business transformation. But, sometimes, the best way to help others is to be vulnerable about our own struggles and transformations.
Mike Baer isn’t just any podcast host. He’s a veteran of the modern Business as Mission (BAM) movement - a pastor, entrepreneur, theologian, and executive who has led and taught BAM on nearly every continent.
One of the most powerful moments in the podcast comes when Mike and I discuss a question that he says stopped him in his tracks when we first met in Asheville, NC.
This question has become central to my work with business leaders across the globe.
Too many successful entrepreneurs reach their later years only to realize they’ve built businesses that can’t survive without them.
Mike is a great host I think you will enjoy it.
Let me know what you think!
